2. Non-Custodial Nature

SomPay QR is an intermediate routing utility. We do not process transactions, hold funds, or require you to create an account. All financial transactions are executed directly on your device via standard USSD protocols communicated to your telecommunications provider.

3. Data We Collect

Because of our non-custodial architecture, we collect minimal data:

• Device Information: We may collect anonymous crash reports and device diagnostics to improve app stability.
• Camera Access: The App requires camera access exclusively for scanning QR codes. Images are processed locally on your device and are never uploaded to our servers.
• Phone Access (USSD): The App triggers native phone dialer intents to execute payments. We do not read your call logs or intercept SMS messages.

4. Third-Party Services

The App interacts with third-party mobile wallets (such as EVC Plus, ZAAD, etc.). We are not responsible for the privacy practices of these third-party operators. Please refer to their respective privacy policies.
